Quick question for the elderly and those facing disability, how many social events have you missed out on because family or friends did not have the time or energy to accompany you? How often does company stop by for conversation? How many birthday celebrations or weddings missed? How often do you simply go for a scroll in the park?
People who have suffered traumatic injury or going through the aging transition often become a shut-in individual, frequently struggling and fighting isolation, depression and anxiety. The story’s pretty much the same, even though they involve millions of different people, and thousands of different situations. Most individuals in this situation dream of how to get back out into their community and socialize with family and friends.

However, Homemaker and Companion Service(s) such as Royal Care play a critical role in caring for seniors and bringing peace of mind to families in need of care for loved ones. The long-term costs for non-acute care with a Homemaker and Companion Service is typically much lower than living in a nursing home full-time.
