Welcome to
The Valley of the Kings
Springing from the same streets Les Brown, Sidney Poitier, Chad Ochocinco even Mohammed Ali and many more, Liberty City, Miami, FL was my “Valley of the Kings,” and ended Valley, there are no quitters., In June of 2013 I was involved in a serious car accident, while leaving my friends baby shower leaving me a C4 quadriplegic, paralyzed from the neck down. While struggling with depression and anxiety (panic disorder), someone in physical therapy, gave me the wake-up call I needed. He said, “if you are ready to die, and give up, there are both legal and illegal ways to get it done, but if you are not ready to quit yet, wake your A** up, and do something”. This was the spark for me to stop crying over all the things I lost, and what I cannot do, and focus on what I could still do, and what I could learn to do, and The Nobleman Brand was born. The goal was simple, start a new journey, creating something from nothing, finding the message from the mess.
The Becoming
People are always mostly surprise that I am a musician writing, recording and mixing my own music, my comfort in music, the ultimate gift given by my granny Lin. I file my own corporate documents with the state and the IRS, I create my own business plans, objectives and marketing tactics, I run my social media channels, I create content for those channels, I have a clothing line for which I design all of the artwork and logos, I even have a small, but growing ministry to encourage others, disabled or not to step out on the same faith. It should not be a surprise that I can do these things, YES I am paralyzed from the neck down, meaning, I have no functional movements of my hands/arms or legs, but as long as I have a voice and a brain, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me, and so can you and everybody else.
I have seen and I am extremely grateful for a lot of disabled individuals and couples that are raising all sorts of awareness that people with disabilities can still “DO” life, a community that before my accident, I was completely oblivious to. We can still work, we can still have fun, we can still love. What I am seeing a lack of is the actual “WORK AND INNOVATION” that disabled individuals can still do, while the awareness is still all good and well. I am personally 1000% grateful that people with disabilities can now use social media and other technological avenues to make money from their home, not having to worry about employers counting them out because of their disability. This is a huge advancement for the disabled and aging community, GREAT JOB. But where are the disabled artist, musicians, engineers, teachers/professors, counselors, lawyers etc. We as disabled individuals can do more than just raise awareness that we exist, we can actually help “CHANGE” and “PUSH” the world forward.
It’s evident we are currently in a highly lucrative and rapidly growing economy. With the current trend of ingenuity, imagination, and entrepreneurship, even one with disabilities can move toward starting and running a business, helping overcome the plight of what once seemed impossible for those with disabilities. Today, there is a huge fight for attention in the digital world and the Nobleman Brand is here to blaze a trail.
With the Internet and other technological advancements, the world has literally opened up to everyone, and there is still more to go. Everything you see and read was done by the founder of the Nobleman Brand, and all without proper and complete function of his hands, but by using technology that allows him to edit photos, record music, and digitally design all with his voice. The goal is to provide high quality content, good, services and relationships, that are essential for growth, innovation and interaction. Our services are positioned very carefully, and are of high quality and relevancy, tailored to our clients expectations. All of which ensures our clientele makes the right business decision. Pushing forward, in turn, spearheading our mission of growth and affecting others positively.
